Monastery “St. Mina” – The church was built during the Ottoman rule in 1872 and was originally dedicated to the “Holy Trinity” as a legend by the end of the XIV century in this place there was a monastery “St. Trinity” destroyed by the Turks, whose deterioration is seen until the end of the XVII century. During World War II, the temple was dedicated to “St. Teraponty”(until 1957), as there is a tradition that this place was slain St. Teraponty Serdica. In 1957 the church was dedicated to “St. Martyr. Mine ” with  temple celebration on November 11.

 

 

 

Katina pyramids – Katina pyramids are rock phenomenon in the southern foothills of the Sofia part of the Western Balkan Mountains, located in two places in the village of Katina. They are formed due to erosion in deluvial deposits, pulled off the mountain. They are declared as a natural landmark. Katina pyramids are erosion forms of aesthetic value. Located at 650 m altitude and at 1 km from the center of Katina, north of Sofia (42.84631, 23.33042). Declared as a landmark in 1962
